🧩 M365 Integration – E-MFA Setup
🚀 Step 1: Create the Integration
Log in to the AuthN Integration Portal.
Click Add Integration and select the Microsoft 365 icon
The integration will be linked to the domain you're planning to federate.
⚠️ Once federated, all users under that domain will be redirected to WebAuthN for login. That’s great for security, but we want to avoid any accidental lockouts — which is why we recommend a gradual rollout.
🧪 Step 2: Set Up E-MFA for Gradual Rollout
To make sure your users are ready before flipping the big switch:
Follow the E-MFA Configuration Guide to set up the E-MFA profile in your Entra ID tenant.
Assign the E-MFA method to a pilot group of users first — so they can register their devices and test the flow.
Once your test group is comfortable, gradually expand the rollout to more users.
✅ Step 3: Confirm Device Registration
Once you’re confident that all your users (or at least the ones in the domain) have successfully:
Registered their devices using the AuthN by IDEE E-MFA profile
Logged in without any issues
… you're ready for the final step!
