📍 Step 1: Start from the External Link

1. Enter the External URL you copied from the Entra Application Proxy setup.

🔐 Step 2: Web-AuthN Login

1. If your domain is federated, you will now be redirected to the AuthN by IDEE login screen.

2. WebAuthN is set up: You will be prompted to use your security key, Windows Hello, or another method.

🖥️ Step 3: RD Web Client & Local Credentials

1. You will likely be prompted one more time for your credentials. This is normal!

   • Username: Enter your Windows (on-premises Active Directory) username.

   • Password: Enter your Windows (on-premises Active Directory) password.

   • This is because the connection is now passing from the cloud (Entra ID) to your internal network, which uses your local domain credentials.

2. You should now arrive at the RD Web Client portal, showing the published "Remote Desktop" icon and any other apps you published.
